Boosting Economic Prosperity
Building Economic Mobility. Strengthening Communities. Transforming Lives.
The Central Virginia Economic Initiative unites a 50-organization regional partnership to address the root causes of homelessness and poverty through workforce development, healthcare access, financial literacy, and small business creation.
By combining donated partner services with grants and financial partnerships, the initiative will provide integrated workforce training, industry-recognized credentials, AI and technology skills, employer connections, and supportive services to help individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve lasting economic stability.
Serving an estimated 300–400 participants annually, the initiative targets 70% job placement, 65% credential attainment, and 60% job retention at 6–12 months. The program will begin in Richmond, expand throughout Central Virginia and statewide, and ultimately reach communities across the United States.
Through collaboration, innovation, and measurable outcomes, the initiative aims to reduce poverty, strengthen the workforce, support entrepreneurship, and build resilient local economies.

- Business owners who offer paid employment hours or internships.
- Ministry leaders who organize volunteer service hours and projects.
- Community organization leaders who provide job training.
