Healing the USA
Though the United States of America was founded on Biblical principles from a vision on God's heart, we have diverted from His ways from the inception of this nation. Through broken covenants with First Nations, enslavement of Africans, mistreatment of immigrants, institutional racism, fascism, abuse of children, trafficking, murdering the unborn, addictions and other offenses, we have wounded each other and the soul of this nation. We have also allowed deceptions to cause us to believe that we are each others' enemies, rather than uniting to do good. We must unite to heal, beyond everything that divides us. In fact, our differences serve to keep us balanced in our policies and empathetic in our social interactions, when we allow God to guide us. Markita created the Invitation Movement in the wake of the social unrest after George Floyd's murder in the midst of the COVID shutdown. It continues to work toward healing, peace and justice in the USA, and the Impact Healing Movement supports the healing objective. Through The Truth In The Spirit, Markita also works with First Nations ministries and organizations in Israel, for the healing of the USA from Israel and the healing of Israel from the USA, as our futures are inextricably connected. In partnership with the Financial Services Innovation Coalition, Markita started the Central Virginia Economic Initiative addressing economic inequity in Central Virginia and the nation. Healing Israel
Israel was established and is sustained through covenant with God. He set apart Israel for Himself and sought to introduce the whole world to Himself through Israel. The Holy Scriptures, the covenants of God, the 12 original apostles and the Messiah Himself have all come into the world through Israel. To protect His works through His precious people, God gave a land to His people and gave it the same name--Israel. Israel, the people and the land, have always been attacked by the enemies of God to separate the people from Him and the land. However, this will not last forever. God will not allow it. In fact, He calls the nations to lift up Israel and sow financially into Israel, as this aligns nations rightly with the God of Israel. Failure to do so is rebellion against God. Obedience to do so brings blessings and healing to nations. For this reason, the Impact Healing Movement works with organizations in Israel, for the healing of the USA from Israel and the healing of Israel from the USA, as our futures are inextricably connected. These organizations include the Joseph Project, Maoz Israel, Kad-Esh MAP Ministries, United Nations for Israel, and others.
