Receive Healing, So You Can Heal Others

God wants to work through you, but first He must heal you!

You were not designed to destroy or sabotage yourself or others.  Receive healing for your brokenness, so you can be a blessing to the world.

A message from Markita:  "You were given creative power when the Creator made you.  However, trauma from abuse, loss and abandonment damages our souls (thoughts, emotions and will).  We are taught in Western society to move on after intense pain, and most people expect us to do just that.  This causes us to pretend we are okay when we are far from it.  It also causes us to take on false personas or behave in destructive ways just to distract ourselves and others from the pain we are hiding.

"God doesn't want you to pretend.  He wants you to face the truth:  you have been hurt and you have hurt others.  This truth is ugly but, thank God, it does not have to define us or guide our choices.  It also doesn't have to continue.  Deliverance and healing address the sources of our pain and propel us into fulfilling our purpose authentically.

"The challenge though is that we cannot deliver or heal ourselves.  Just like a brain surgeon can't perform surgery on herself and a therapist can't counsel himself, we can't heal the trauma done to our souls or deliver ourselves from destructive cycles.  We can release them to God though, for His deliverance and healing.  When we do, He exchanges that pain for purpose.  All of it is then worked together for His good in our lives and in this world.

"In this season of my life, everything I do is a result of triumphs I've experienced after pain or serious challenges.  Nothing came easy for me, but God taught me to bring my pain and issues to Him.  He has also revealed that He is using everything I've ever gone through to empower me to help someone else.  He wants to use you the same way, but first you must come to Him.

"If you don't have a personal relationship with God, prayerfully consider receiving salvation through His Son, Yeshua (Jesus).  The section below goes into detail about salvation in Messiah and how it reconciles you to God.  Then you can surrender to God everything from which you need deliverance and receive His healing for your soul.  Additionally, consider joining me for my upcoming Impact Healing Circle to receive personal healing and define your healing mission to the world.  Complete the form below to request more info.  I don't suggest you walk this road alone though.  Let me know how I can help."

The Walk of Salvation

Salvation:  To be "saved" is to be set free from bondage to sin.  "Sin" includes everything that is not God's will for our lives, and it is always destructive (even if only in the long-term).  To be "saved" also includes being freed from the consequences of your sins, which is separation from God and all of His goodness.  When we are saved, we are released to actually be made more and more like God everyday.  This is God's perfect plan for each of us.

Our God is perfectly loving, and in His mercy and grace to us, He sent His Son to pay the price for ALL of our sins--the sins of every person in the world who has ever lived.  By His sacrifice, all of us can receive salvation, deliverance from destructive lifestyles and demonic oppression, and healing for our bodies and souls.  However, each one of us has a choice to accept this sacrifice and receive salvation in Messiah Yeshua (aka Jesus Christ).  Yeshua is called many other names in many cultures, to include "Jesus".  However, we choose to reclaim His narrative and call Him by the Name originally given to Him, this affirming His true identity, as He does for us.

Receiving salvation in Messiah Yeshua will absolutely transform every aspect of our lives and restore the world around us.  If you desire to receive salvation in Messiah Yeshua today, simply pray the Prayer of Salvation aloud while believing every word of it in your heart.

Prayer of Salvation:  Heavenly Father, I come to You in prayer asking for forgiveness of my sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Yeshua is Your Son. He died on the cross that I might be forgiven of my sins, reconciled in my relationship with You, live life abundantly on earth and live eternally in Your Presence. I believe that Yeshua rose from the dead, and I ask You right now to come into my life, be my personal Savior and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Empower me to repent of my sins and worship You all the days of my life. Your Word is truth, so I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that I am born again and cleansed by the Blood of Messiah Yeshua! In Yeshua's Name I pray, Amen!

Walking with God:  If you prayed the Prayer of Salvation aloud and believe in your heart, you are SAVED!  This is not the end of your journey; it is just the beginning.  This journey of salvation is not intended to be walked alone.  We want to pray for you and support you in your Salvation Journey.  Visit welcometosalvation.org

A Journey of Self-Discovery

A Message from Markita:  "Receiving salvation in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) starts your journey of healing for your soul (thoughts, emotions, will).  However, you must also discover who you are to walk out your deliverance and healing.  I suggest that you make a decision for yourself to discover who you really are in God.

"All of the voices and influences throughout life have sought to define 'self' for you, so I won't become another one of those.  Instead, I'd like to be a guide for you on your journey to self-discovery and tell you about my own journey, which led me to a deeper relationship with God and fulfilling my purpose.

"As I share in my signature talk, 'True You,' you are multi-faceted.  By that I mean there are many sides of you.  When people see a side of us in life, they often assume they know who we are completely.  Then they start trying to direct us into an identity that works well for them.  Some people do this intentionally through manipulation, but others are not intentional at all.  They simply do this through compliments and criticism (constructive or otherwise).  Though we need both (when they are constructive), those words influence how we see ourselves.  So, to truly discover yourself, you have to evaluate the words that have shaped you the most.

"I suggest spending a season alone (a week or a few weeks), for at least most of each day.  If you must work, plan to be alone before and after work to spend time with yourself, not by yourself.  Being with yourself is a choice that will prove to be productive for your growth.  Being 'by yourself' has a connotation of being alone when you don't want to be.

"In time with yourself, write about who you think you are.  You can also do an audio note that you record.  I suggest a timed exercise, like 3 minutes.  This will not give you time to correct what you think about yourself.  Just blurt it out or write it quickly.  Then go back and read it.  Are these your honest thoughts?  Would you like to be a different person than you have described?  What strengths did you highlight?  Are they truly strengths, or are they defense mechanisms?  Are your gifts and talents revealed in your description of yourself, or are they yet undeveloped lying dormant?  If you struggle identifying your strengths, gifts and talents, prayerfully consider my Bible-based video coaching program, Discovering Your Divine Design.

"To change 'you', you must change your influences.  Write down or record who you would like to be and how you would like to be, to include the strengths, gifts and talents that you'd like to develop and even monetize.  Now intentionally choose people to be with and places to frequent that will influence you the way you'd like to be influenced, as well as those that will challenge you to improve and grow.

"Sounds easy right?  Wrong!  It's the hardest thing in the world to do--change ourselves.  Thankfully, our Creator didn't leave us to ourselves to do that.  Instead, He reveals more and more of our true identity every day that we walk with Him.  Decide today to listen more to your inner voice, giving space for you to direct your own thoughts and emotions.  Listen also to the whispers of God's voice, directing you in the way that is best for you.  If you have a hard time hearing God's voice, inquire of Him through a prophet, like myself, so that He can begin to speak to you.  Prayerfully consider scheduling a Prophetic PROFIT Encounter with me today, so that we can seek Him about your identity and purpose together.
